Port Engineers and Chief Engineers now have the capability to order their surveys online. Getting an online login account is the best way to see your class status and due dates for various surveys

International Fire Service Training Association: You can go here to get training materials for shipboard firefighting tactics, proper donning and maintenance of the SCBA and ensembles, and detailed guidance for building a pre-fire plan binder


The National Fire Protection Association has all of the latest specifications for fixed firefighting systems, and portable extinguishers, and standards for conducting shipboard firefighting drills with land based firefighters


At the American Society for Testing and Materials, you can search and buy standards and engineering publications, join technical committees, and learn about ASTM.
