Civilians and NOAA Corps officers at NOAA's Marine Operations Center-Pacific in Newport, Oregon, commemorate the 100th anniversary of the NOAA Corps, whose forerunner, the Coast and Geodetic Survey Commissioned Corps, was established on May 22, 1917.
