Behavioral Health & Wellness

Behavioral Health and Wellness (BH&W) was established earlier this year (2018), making it the newest program in OMAO's Office of Health Services. Created with the ambition of becoming an industry-leading program, BH&W endeavors to serve the OMAO workforce using the following two-pronged approach:

  • Ensuring that everyone who experiences signs and symptoms of mental health and/or substance use issues has access to high-quality services in a supportive culture that encourages treatment
  • Promoting the wellness of the workforce as a whole by identifying opportunities to improve well-being (decreasing stress, increasing morale, etc) and responding with best-fit interventions

BH&W works for you. If you have ideas for initiatives that we should consider, areas of concern that we should address, or even information that we should share on this website, please contact us and let us know!
